Create VB.NET 2010 sample project and .exe executable that utilizes a .DLL based on the Avid DNxHD codec library available for free download here: [login to view URL] . The project should include examples of invoking the .DLL performing all supported functions of the codec library, such as:
CreateAvidDNxHDCodec()
DestroyAvidDNxHDCodec()
GetCompressedFrameDetails()
EncodeFrame()
DecodeFrame()
etc.
[login to view URL] (fill out form to retrieve sdk download link)
The library and sample project should be able to encode and decode video data in all supported resolutions listed in the [login to view URL] file included in the SDK downlad as well as scan types (progressive/interlaced), bit depths, and color spaces.
The sample project should include descriptive comments illustrating how to invoke all DLL functions.
The resultant file(s) should be 'wrapped' in an MXF container for use with an Avid Media Composer system. The MXF (OpAtom and Op-1a) file should support the DNxHD video file and audio data as well as time code.
I can provide links to SDK libraries for MXF support if required.
Candidate should have experience working with video and/or audio encoding/decoding. Alternatively, a proof-of-concept application may be provided by the candidate for extra consideration.
Sample video data for testing is included with the free SDK download. Additional video data may be provided upon request.
