I need additions made to an IRC client. This project is small and has 3 requirements.
I prefer to use HexChat or Xchat because it already supports different username colors, and are open source. A different IRC client is okay if it supports username colors also.
Requirements:
1. Scan [login to view URL] website followers from a specific user [login to view URL] streamer and add them to a list (text, xml, etc.) that will be used to identify them as followers when they join the IRC channel by displaying their username in a different color.
Example:
Input the URL: [login to view URL]
into the program. It then scans each 'username' into a file to keep track of the users. Then when they join chat, username is different color.
2. Create separate window that displays when a user joins the IRC chat. This window only displays any user has joined. If the user is a 'follower' of the streamer from [login to view URL], show the username in a different color to identify they are on the 'follow' list from Requirement 1.
3. Create a separate window that only displays messages from users that typed @A or @a or @Andy or @andy
before the message they want to send.
Example 1:
@Andy Hello to you! <---- (This example is good and puts message into the separate window)
Example 2:
@a Hello to you! <---- (This example is good and puts message into the separate window)
Example 3:
Hello to you! <---- (This example does not put message into the separate window)
Please ask any questions you might have.
