The project has no description except 'design an ERD'. So the price stated is per day (8 hrs of work). If you have more description of the problem it will help estimate the work. Some pointers could be: 1) Is it an enhancement to an existing ERD / reverse-engineering? 2) What is the subject are? 3) What is the objective? 4) How do you intend to use this ERD? 5) What is your preferred tool for ERD modeling? I propose to start with some background on the entire task and then understanding the subject area. Provide more accurate estimation and then create ERD. Demonstrate it and receive feedback and then adapt and deliver.
