I am a journalist with 10 years’ experience in newspapers and I have built my own blog with related social media pages including Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Google Plus and Instagram. I am able to write to deadlines and write interesting content with powerful leads. Since leaving newspapers I have concentrated on my own writing and have built two different websites and written two novels and 15 short stories. I have written for trade, tourist and specialised magazines for a variety of targeted audiences. I am able to write a variety of styles ranging from professional journalism, academic, feature writing and light-hearted conversationalist.

I have experience working as a Creative Marketing Executive for a Holiday and Investment Lodge Company, involved in creating engaging and interesting SEO friendly content for blogs, editorials and various other platforms; as well as editing and proofing other staff members work as well as external agencies. I also managed and updated the social media pages, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I have a degree in Sport Science and am proficient in all Microsoft Office Software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) as well as Adobe InDesign and PhotoShop.
