The attached 6400sq/ft house is designed in AutoCAD in 2D and I need it converted to a 3D model that can be 3D printed on a LulzBot Taz 6. The model needs to be printed in several parts so we can easily remove the parts to view the inside rooms. The final model needs to be able to be printed in the following maximum lengths: 11", 24" and 36" so the rooms should be split so they can be printed in such a way that they connect together using a dovetail or some other mechanism so it stays together without glue. Attached are PDFs of the house so you can get an idea of the complexity for bidding purposes. The AutoCAD files are going through final review at the architect and will be available to the winning freelancer. Deliverables are the STL files for the 3D printer and the matching AutoCAD files used to create the STL file. Let me know if you have any questions!

Hi I do not see any attachment. anyway, I can make the model and you can use part by part to set the total model like as baby toy. I know archicad to model house but I will use solidworks for this job as you need stl file and now nees any rendering work. I am ready to start this job today. Regards kayes

I have done 3D modeling for 3D printing project for my previous employer. But I had used Solidworks 2012, not AutoCAD 3D. I had 3D modeled a mud pit in one of the offshore rigs. The 3Dmodel was then converted into stereo lithography format compatible with all 3D printers. For that 3D printer, the 3D model had a minimum thickness of 2.5 mm.
