specializes in helping small businesses and entrepreneurs

grow their sales and attract more customers.

Today, we help our small business customers by providing

a single, focused, efficient service that gives business

owners the strategy and help with implementation they need

to be able to create an effective online sales funnel.

A sales funnel is best defined as a series of steps that

lead potential customers towards a purchase decision:

from awareness, to engagement and relationship building,

to the actual purchase and then referrals and repeat orders.

About the position and who will best fill it

The Copywriting Expert position is best for someone who has experience as a copywriter. However, the copywriter who will be best for this role is someone who wants more variety and opportunity to apply his / her expertise across markets and business models.

In addition, the person who will be a best fit for this position should be someone who feel confident in his / her ability to "find holes" that others cannot see on someone's website or sales funnel as a whole. Both in the copy, and even able to extend suggestions into the design.

Responsibilities

Tasks include:

> Landing page / copywriting reviews on video (< 15 min. each)

> Edits to existing copy, like rewriting headlines or editing copy for a landing page in Gdocs (10 - 30 min each)

> Small copywriting tasks, like writing ads for Facebook or retargeting ads, or coming up with copy for an AB split test on a pop-up (15 - 20 min)

The frequency of these tasks would be 0-2 daily during normal business hours, with a requested turn-around time of < 24 hours (1 business day or less ideally since they are simple).

Requirements

Must complete preliminary 1 week training which includes a short test

Must be technically savvy enough to be comfortable learning and using new software (we use Trello for project management)

Must be available for weekly team calls and contribute with ideas for how to improve your work process

Not a requirement but a plus: Proficiency in Wordpress, Google Analytics, and other marketing software like LeadPages and [url removed, login to view]

Customer focused attitude but also able to follow specific directions every week via our checklists, templates, and other instructional media used to operate the business

A positive, enthusiastic attitude with good organizational skills

Creative, solution-oriented mindset; able to consider tactical details and think on a strategic level.

Compensation

Must complete 1 week of training

Starting compensation is $500 per month

Amount will increase over time as workload grows

Also, plenty of opportunities (if interested) in project based copywriting work (we offer custom copy add-on services to our customers)
