One of the biggest hurdles that I have to cross every single day of my freelancing life is to prove my ability and proficiency to communicate in English to potential buyers who are keen only on ‘native’ writers. I do understand your predicament. After all, like you, a majority of buyers/employers from the western world are convinced that India is one of those third world countries which simply cannot produce good writers.
Unfortunately, like thousands of Indians who write and speak immaculate English (could be better than what the natives are capable of producing) I too take great pride in my writing and communication skills in the language. The reason for this is that I have, like many other Indians, got my education in English and use the language as my first language.
My writing skills and commitment to the job is proven beyond doubt (read my reviews and my profile, especially in Freelancer.com) where this site has declared me to be one of the best 10,000 writers they have.
If all these personal trumpeting still does not convince you, contact me for samples of my work. Now, isn’t that fair?
