Adding sensors to my answering call app

Hi, I'm doing a school project(not gonna publish this app in the store) and I need a litle help. I want to create a app that answers calls by approaching the cellphone to the ear(probably using the proximity sensor and light sensor). Which is similar to:

Easy Answer:

I already have a app that answers any call automatically that is very similar to this:

You can freely decompress existing code using these instructions :

You can copy any existing code, because this app is only for educational purpose. I have all the above .apk if you need. I just want a app that works and is legible(afterwards I will "translate" the code from english to portuguese). You can use my existing app(which already answers call) and just add the "answer by approaching on ear" functionality. Or you can just try to copy a already existing app code that works
