I am an information security consultant with 8 years experience in Linux administration, including working as a system admin for web hosting company when I was in college. I need access to the server and to logs to investigate the denial of service attack. We need to get a new IP address because if the attack started before you add cloudflare cdn then the probably have your IP address and can bypass cloudflare. Solution to the attack may include modifying how the services on the server work and for a website that may need a change on how it deals with parameters in which case we would need the help of the person who wrote the code, also it may include installing extra software components and/or needing higher bandwidth or renting some service. All that depends on the type and methodology of the attack.
