Default Magento install on a LAMP stack or cPanel or other. I prefer cPanel but I can do it on LAMP too - Ubuntu. I'd harden it and secure the store after Magento is setup. I'd lock down the server with IPTables or if cPanel, CFS. cPanel is just worth it because it has very nice security features and if you do not know how to manage a LAMP stack via CLI it makes server stuff very easy. I can setup your domain and records too. Then, you take it from there.
