advertisement analysis creative

write a 3-4 page essay in which you analyze an advertisement for its effectiveness in persuading the viewer to get involved in a particular environment or social cause. although you will assume that the reader can see the advertisement, you will likely include in the essay descriptive language and orienting vocab. you'll have to talk about the artistic elements in the advertisement -the use of color, shapes, lines, balance, for example. (you can include a discussion of these elements in the essay, however remember that here youre speaking about a commercial advertisement rather than a work of art, with the difference in both audience and purpose that that difference implies)you will also speak to such areas as the advertisement purpose, it focuses its visual objects and their placement and any printed text it may contain. you also will want to speculate about who the advertisements intended audience may be.

need to develop own ideas. also a cover letter that talks about how you wrote the essay how you came with ideas.

must be easy and fun to read. must have a strong introduction and thesis.
