This site is based on the Xcent Classifieds market program. [url removed, login to view]

It helps if you're familiar with it or are willing to become familiar. I need someone with good communication skills and who will be careful to only do what is directed.

Project

1-To make changes to the default page.

a-To modify the Login-Registration Box

b-Move the Search link

c-Form the subcategories in one line

d-Activate the subcategories links

e-Move some categories to conform with the application to place ads.

2-To finish converting all New #1 Templates ([url removed, login to view]) from the old in the site. I discovered one is not done.

3-To make two new templates to accept banners and google ads using as a base an existing template. [url removed, login to view]

4-To finish developing a template to have a Video screen. We have one but it can't be used properly by Firefox and explorer browsers. It only works properly with one. [url removed, login to view]

5-To design and place into site new GARAGE, FIND PROFESSIONALS, VEHICLE DEALERS and REAL ESTATE buttons.

6-To turn white background on all Category boxes in the site.

7-To fix the feature to allow to charge differently the base charges in whatever category I choose. Now is not working properly.

8-The site is set up to charge users with PayPal. But the feature to "manage my ads" that allows users to put back in ads after they have expired, is not charging them at all. We need to fix that.

9-To rearrange the Prize Winner's front page in order to have a wider Prize Win Rules, turning the box's background white. [url removed, login to view]

10-To make a new template, similar to the Prize Winner's template, but using different sizes to accept 4 to 6 banners the same size, and set it up with a link for users to access it.

11-To set up the text in all working templates to have a space margin around it.

12-To finish the set up of the FORUM installed, http://www.cybermerx.com/forum/Forum.asp , adding a user's access button at the Default page

I think I should explain in more detail what the actual work is in this project:

#1 The default page changes have many items but actually is merely to move the search link and reduce the size of the box which is simple. I think I will place a banner with the links to LOGIN and REGISTER in the place of what we have there but same width and less height. I have the banner. And to put the subcategories in one line and activate them is an action taken in one place at the admin.

#2 is ALL DONE except for a SINGLE template that I can't find anywhere to change it.

#3To make two new templates using an existing one to rearrange the banners and category box.

#4 is to finish the installation of the video screen which can be seen with explorer but not Firefox (the controls are not visible)the Template is already done.

#5 It is DONE. I did it yesterday.

#6 Changing the category boxes background to white is a matter of going into the master admin and changing it there for all the templates that don't have it which are the Gray top ones. ALL the pink top box templates are already changed which are more than half of all templates.

#7 is a matter of turning on a feature that is not working now, in the master admin.

#8 has already been done for posting ads but when reposting them it is not charging. So now it is a matter of copying the process from the one that works and applying it to this other part of the site. The hard part has already been done.

#9 is merely to enlarge the rules box wider, so that it doesn't get so tall pushing the whole page lower. We have plenty of space to do it and it is a matter of changing the percentages of the box in the page.

#10 is to make a new template very much the same as the Prize Winners template number two (without the left rules box) but to accommodate 300 X 250 same size banners, so this template can be used as a base to do the new one merely changing the sizes already there. Much easier than starting from scratch.

#11 The text was fine until one former technician screwed it up. All we need is to make the text to have a 15 pixel separation from the left margin, and bring back the gray color that it had (as some still do). That's it. It can be done in the master admin for all.

#12 The Forum is already set up, it just needs to be finished making a few changes like taking out the link to the admin in the Forum front page, twiching the color, and placing a link at the default page so users can access it from there.

I think that 7 to 10 hours should do it for an experienced technician.
