I want 2 teaching modules (Power Point Presentations) designed for a 5-8th grade school in Kenya. They speak English and Masai. They do not need a different background. One Slide "Background" is fine or two different styles is Ok if you are ambitious. I WILL work with the designer to tweak content on the slides after I choose someone. I am mostly looking to see if someone gets the idea and I like the look, feel, graphics and flow of the presentation. Exact wording can be changed. I have attached super rough ideas and forms for text from the internet JUST as ideas.

1) Goal Setting

Steps to take in goal setting

Examples of people who have overcome the impossible to achieve greatness are OK to. Examples of successful women, blacks, African's are ok. Something inspirational. Feel free to add Content if you find it, have it or want to test it out on me. It can be added to each slide appropriate for me to teach from. Short talking points. I would say no more than 15-20 Slides. Graphics are GREAT. I want a compass on one of the first slides because I am giving away compass's to the students. I will support the text as we move forward with the project. Keep the audience in mind 5-8th grade in a 3rd world country. Design something they will like that will flow easily and that I can teach from.

Feel free to add Content if you find it, have it or want to test it out on me. It can be added to each slide appropriate for me to teach from. Short talking points.It is a Christian school so God is Ok to use or Christian character traits. I do not want a religious presentation. Again no more than 15-20 slides with text and graphics that support the content. Same age group. Translating some of the MAJOR words into Massai within the power point is Ok by me. 60% are English literate. I may or may not have a translator.

Hello,

I've uploaded a workshop slide presentation in a similar vein as the one you are conducting (entry #11 ). Please have a look and let me know if you like the general clean and crisp style. Colors and graphics/art can be changed to suit the content of your course - the important thing is whether or not you like the sparse style of presentation.

Of course much of the wording and individual slide content would need to be hashed out, but we can work together on that until you're satisfied. Private message me to discuss in more detail if needed and let me know what your deadline for completion is as well.

I am continuing to pull graphics and content as ideas. Use what you like and ignore what you don't. I will work to finalize the content with the designer I choose. So the exact words are not as important and the look, feel and basic idea and style of the slides.

Do you want to design great layout and border and good background and design for power point to put ur contents in it , or you want full design (writing and design) ?!

I'm a former teacher of the deaf and hard of hearing and have done graduate work in ESL (that might be an issue here) but I understand the relationship between matching language to student reading level and interest level to make the presentation dynamic, meaningful, and impacting. I have made Power Point Presentations in the form of narrated books as well. Just to give you an idea, just go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXX34ibQhEs (If the link doesn't work here, just google "Lucky, the Left Pawed Puppy," youtube. The language and interest level of that presentation, of course, are well below the level of your students, but the presentation indicates my experience. Because this presentation was converted to a youtube move, the sides show black margins. This is not the case when viewing the presentation outside of youtube. Thanks for your time. Cheers, Billie
