Create a logo for my new restaurant

I am opening a new restaurant (name is at the bottom of this description). The idea is simple, it's a place with great food, relaxed atmosphere and just great style. It will FEEL LIKE HOME!!

I'd also like perhaps a cartoonised or stylised logo with the faces of the two owners (attached) ... so make as many logo concepts as you want, some with or without the faces of the owners... but I'd like every designer to at least try to incorporate the owners in some way in at least one version of the logo.

This is to emphasise that its a home-made, home-cooking type of restaurant. Very personal. etc...

It will serve: COMFORT FOOD E.g. food like home-made burritos, burgers, soups, big salads... everything to make your soul feel great... proper COMFORT FOOD.

A grill, a bar, great food. It's got to make people FEEL GOOD, both the food, and of course the logo you create for us.

Send in your best ideas! And please give some information on each submission as to why its good for our brand.

If possible, I'd like to see "Comfort food" somewhere within the logo.

Finally - the name of the restaurant is: THE JOINT

The logo must be cool, and maybe americanised in terms of diner style... not sure, you give your best ideas and inputs in a range of styles for consideration. GUARANTEED CONTEST. And don't forget the styled pic of the owners incorporated in at least one of your submissions if possible!

Info on the two owners - the male, is obviously a larger than life kind of guy! Very happy, Canadian. The female, is Venezuelan, so has that Latina fire and absolutely gorgeous. Both are the kindest and happiest you meet, so smiles and personalities to show through in the depictions you create!
